CLINICAL APPROACH
Dr Ellen considers symptoms, medical history, medications, lifestyle and movement together to create an individualised plan using Chinese medicine, acupuncture and other appropriate care.
SEE HOW THE CONSULTATION WORKS →Dr Ellen Lee integrates Chinese medicine with formal training in Clinical Pilates and yoga, allowing posture, mobility, movement patterns and whole-body function to be considered as part of the clinical picture.
Movement can reveal how posture, mobility, stability and whole-body connections may be contributing to pain or dysfunction.
Where relevant, movement assessment and simple Clinical Pilates or therapeutic yoga exercises may be incorporated into treatment and rehabilitation.
Movement therapy complements, rather than replaces, appropriate medical or physiotherapy care. Referral or collaboration is recommended when needed.
